Custom made to suit arched, angled, circular, triangular, and specialty shaped windows.
Specialty shaped windows are one of the most striking architectural features a home can have — and one of the most difficult to cover well. Standard off-the-shelf blinds and curtains simply don't work for arched windows, triangular gable windows, circular port holes or angled sidelights. That's exactly what Shaped Shutters are designed for.
Every Shaped Shutter is custom made to the precise measurements and geometry of your window. Whether it's a classic arch, a Palladian window, an ellipse or an irregular polygon, our manufacturing team can produce shutters that fit with millimetre precision. The result is a window furnishing that looks as though it was always part of the building's design — because it was designed specifically for it.
Material options include PVC composite, polyresin and timber, so you can match the shutter material to the rest of your home's window treatments for a cohesive look. Fixed and operable blade options are available depending on whether light control is a priority or whether the window is primarily decorative.
Shaped Shutters do more than solve a practical problem. They elevate the look of any home, adding a sense of craftsmanship and attention to detail that is immediately noticeable from both inside and outside. For heritage homes, they restore period-appropriate character. For new builds, they add a custom, bespoke finish that distinguishes the property.
What shapes can you accommodate?
We regularly produce arched, angled, circular, triangular, trapezoidal and other specialty shapes. If you have an unusual window, bring us the measurements and we'll work out a solution.
Are shaped shutters operable or fixed?
Both options are available. Operable blades allow light and airflow control; fixed blades suit purely decorative or privacy applications.
What materials are available?
Shaped Shutters are available in PVC, polyresin and timber, allowing you to match your existing window furnishings.
How long does production take?
